Under sim device manager - other settings
Theres a setting accumotion motion mixer/game data server
export simxperience game data to UDP
motion data
telemetry date
How is this different from selecting a game and using the port forward there?
Asking as I'm having no luck forwarding data from project motor racing to simhub
Turns out simxperience does change the port forwarding settings if started first. just do all the settings in game and sim hub etc, start the game ans per normal and then start simxperience.
Thanks...I'm always starting Sim Commander first. Are you using the default port on Project Motor Racing? Maybe I'm just not getting a good port to forward to.
ive got PMR pointing to simhub on 4124
Simhub then exports to 7577, 7576 and 9999
I cant remember which one of the 3 was simxperience so I've just given you all 3 :)
You'll find if you start pmr from simxperience it actually changes the port to itself only (thats how I got the port number to set simhub to point to simxperience.)
It changes it each time! So set the port in PMR first to point to sim hub
Once PMR is running it wont allow simxperience to reconfigure PMR - that was the piece of the puzzle which was missing :)
Okay, so Sim Commander you are not actually doing any port forwarding. I was trying to do it there and the application is supposed to be able to. I was able to identify the 7576 port that Sim Com uses. I tried 4124 in PMR and it works for Simhub. If you start PMR with Simhub first port 4124 stays and Simhub works, but if I start Sim Com after there is no feedback from Sim Com. What is your startup sequence? Simhub, PMR from Steam, and then SimCom? Thanks for your help.
I'm having same issue and have posted on the forum and created support ticket. I was told it was being looked at and a release was pending but the recent release of Sim Com didn't fix it.
