Heya,

Each time I boot Commander I get denied access to a random number of simX com ports. Occasionally I get access to them all and I can run the motion rig but 9/10 times at least one port is inaccessible. My rig has the seat, traction and seat belt actuators.

I seem to remember this being discussed in here previously but I couldn’t find the post today.

Thanks,

Scott.

Some other 3rd party apps might be opening the COM ports of SimXperience devices and sending garbage data to them. Sim Commander will only ever communicate with SimXperience devices, so the suggested solution is simply to always start Sim Commander before other 3rd party software so we can lock them out of our devices.
