Manually Restore Sim Commander Settings From Backup

Sim Commander automatically keeps backups of your general Sim Commander settings and your Sim Commander hardware settings. These files are stored in the folder: Documents\SimXperience Commander 4.5 Backups\

To manually restore one or both of these backups

1. Close Sim Commander
2. Navigate to Documents\SimXperience Commander 4.5 Backups in Windows File Explorer
3. Click the column header to sort the files by date if you are using list view.
   
   
   
4. Decide which date you want to restore settings from
5. Double-click the Settings zip file for the date you have chosen to open it
6. Right-click on the Settings folder inside the zip file and select Copy to place this folder on your clipboard.
   
   
   
7. Navigate to the Documents\SimXperience Commander 4.5 folder Windows file explorer
8. Click the Paste icon in the toolbar to put the settings folder from the zip file here. Select yes when asked to overwrite existing files. If you do not have a toolbar with a paste icon, in the right-pane of file explorer, right-click a blank space and select paste.
   
   
   
   
9. Repeat this process for the Hardware Settings as well. 
10. Open Sim Commander
