Does anyone have any experience buying or selling a used motion simulator?

My simulator has been sitting idle for several years now, and now I'm preparing to move and would like to find a new home for the system as well. I definitely don't want to even attempt to ship it, but I'm also not keen to advertise what is essentially a niche product within a niche community in some sort of general purpose local trading forum.

I doubt anyone who has moved on from their simulator is hanging around this forum, but I'm hoping someone who has either upgraded or purchased used might have some insight to share.

Advertising on something like the iRacing classifieds forum is probably the best venue, but their forums are behind an active subscription because it's iRacing so of course they are. Perhaps there's some other community someone might suggest?

Thanks for reading!

Funny that I came here for very same reason. I haven’t touched my motion simulator for long time and wanted to sell it. I’ve posted it at iRacing forum but wanted to spread beyond iRacing forum. I might try this Facebook that Phillip suggested… If I couldn’t’ sell it, I might have to disassemble it and leave it in the garage.

Besides the iRacing forums, you could try some of the facebook pages. "Sim Racing Buy & sell USA"  "High End SimRacing Enthusiasts" Enthusiasts"

Matt, I'm not going to be any help with an answer on this one, but I am in the same situation. I'm also looking to sell mine and didn't know where to start with it, since its kind of complicated. Have you reached out to Simxperience sales or anything to see if they have some kind of program or resource for that? That's where I was I was thinking to start...
