In my experience in tuning my force feedback settings using Sim Commander and iRacing, the "Rear Traction Loss" setting seems to do the opposite of what I would expect. As I turn that slider up to higher percentage, it actually damps or stops the natural "counter steer" lightness of the wheel rotation as the car enters a slide. In other words, while the steering wheel wants to start to unwind in the other direction during a slide, increasing "Rear Traction Loss" actually prevents the steering wheel from unwinding.
Is that the intended outcome of that setting?
Is there a setting that does the total and complete opposite of the "Rear Traction Loss" setting? Even with that setting turned off/disable, I still feel that in iRacing the self-steering effect as the car enters a spin is slow and lacking, hard to feel in the wheel. In Assetto Corsa using their FFB only (without Sim Commander running), the counter steer effect feels more natural to me.
I'd like a setting that would actually increase or exaggerate the natural self-centering counter steer effect as the car starts to spin. Any advice would be appreciated.
