locking seat position SX3000

Is there a way to lock the seat in place for games which dont support motion?  Ideally without turning the unit on as I assume turning it on and off when I dont actually require motion isnt great for the electronics

It's OK to have the unit powered on even if the game you will drive won't be using motion. The actuators are quite efficient and could sit there holding their position for MANY years without issue.
