Windows Volume Setting

What is the ideal volume to set my SimVibe sound card in Windows to get the most from effects, but prevent clipping? I know this could vary from card to card and amp to amp, but is there a general rule of thumb? If I recall from my days in car audio it was around 80%.

100% on the sound card. SimVibe + cloud tuning will handle the amplitude of each effect to prevent clipping during normal driving circumstances. You might clip when hitting a wall or flipping the car, but those aren't considered "normal driving circumstances".
