What happens behind the scenes in "Launch" vs "Launch with VR"

Avatar

I'm new to VR, and wondering what the "Launch in VR" does differently than the "Launch button" I normally use for my monitors.

Are VR specific settings loaded? And if I "Launch in VR", then decide to use my triples, do I simply back out and "Launch"?

Thanks

Ken.

The answer is somewhat complex and varies from game to game as to specifically what happens under the hood when you launch in VR vs launching regularly to the screens. The general premise of the functionality is that Sim Commander will perform any configuration necessary to launch the game in VR for your chosen VR headset when you click launch in VR. If your previous launch was in VR and on your next launch, you click 'Launch' to launch to the screens, Sim Commander will perform any configuration necessary to facilitate that.
