I mostly only run AMS2 lately, and I sometimes forget to launch it from Sim Commander since I also use Stream Deck, SimHub and various other ways to launch the game. It used to work and just detect when the game was running when I left the stay connected button checked, but now (using 4.5) I cannot check that box. Any ideas? Also as a possible workaround: is there anyway to run SC 4.5 with command line arguments to auto-load a certain profile, like the cloud-tuned AMS2 I almost always use? If that were true I could launch from Stream Deck or SimHub and have as part of that startup process to load the correct SC 4.5 profile for that title. I realize the advice I've seen here tends to be to use SC as the launcher but it would be nice if that were optional and not required. Stay attached to game used to allow me to automate startup but with it greyed out I'm not sure how to address this?

Hi Mike,

The stay connected option should always have been greyed out. It was an option made specifically for the weird case presented by iRacing where the launcher is a website or other software that's separate from the actual game exe. The option should only have ever been enabled/available for iRacing.

Sim Commander provides a wide range of functionality for starting other apps either before it starts the game or after the game has started. It can also close them when you exit the game if you like. This functionality is available in the 'Launch Tasks' tab of any profile you have on the main screen.

Why can't SC act like SimHub or Sim Dashboard and activate automatically what's running?

Agree with Danyel's point below, 100%, this would be ideal, and obviously is possible, as it does automatically grab data telemetry in SimHub, Sim Racing Studio and others. In fact Sim Commander is the only one I can't use this way. I want to launch from my StreamDeck, not from Sim Commander. Or alternatively as a temp workaround, is there a way to run Sim Commander to start and auto-launch for example the cloud-tuned, non-VR (or VR, when wanted) version of AMS2 from a batch file or executable or command line arguments?
