I'm in a racing league and recently there was an issue on the server, which cause a massive crash. The organization wants to try something for the next race, which means that we have to create a shortcut of the rf2 launcher and add this line after the rFactor.exe'' :

"D:\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Launcher\Launch rFactor.exe" +connect=xx.xx.xx.xxx +password **league password**                    (Ip Adress)

I've tried ''Adding'' a new game, through the Settings menu, selecting the rfactor 2 game plugin, using the shortcut as the launcher, which is on my desktop, but the added command line is not showing. Clicking Auto Discover doesn't add this ''new game''. When adding the custom line, the rectangle gets red so still not working there.

Is there a another way to get a sim button to direct to that custom shortcut and launch that from sim commander?

Or is there a way to, once I've entered the game through that shortcut, to gain access the heads up display to customize the wheel?

Thanks

I believe you will need to put the arguments into the command line parameters field in Sim Commander's game record.
