Problem 'You do not have a valid license or have failed to log in'

Has anyone else experienced this error when trying to launch Sim Commander 4.5?


I get a blank white screen, and a message window appears on top of it saying

'Microsoft.VisualBasic.Core'

'You do not have a valid license or have failed to log in'


I DO have a valid license, but I cannot fathom why this is happening. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'll try installing an older version perhaps.
