Control box operation via Sim Commander, even just to control the fans?

Hi folks, brand new user of the G-Seat GS-5 and G-Belt here, and absolutely loving both of them as an ex-SFX100 and NLMv3 user.
I searched for this topic but found nothing, so hopefully I'm not covering old ground - please forgive me as a newbie if so..!.
My question is whether the two controller boxes can be turned on/off via Sim Commander, or set up so that the fans only operate when needed (eg during actual load).
The fans are quite noisy, doubly so with two control boxes, and sim racing involves quite a lot of 'down time' when we aren't actually driving and using the actuators. If it's possible, it'd be great if the fans (or even the boxes themselves) could be powered down when the seat and belt are not actively in use, either automatically or via a virtual switch in Sim Commander. The boxes can of course be turned off manually, but are out of reach when strapped into a harness.
The other option is to plug them into a remote control or smart wall socket so they can be powered down remotely that way. An inelegant solution, but effective.
I'm guessing there's no temperature based fan profiling as they seem to run all of the time as soon as the boxes are powered up.
Much appreciated, thanks.

I have the same problem. Did somebody replied to you maybe through a support ticket?
Thanks
