Hi,

I just purchased the e G Belt and looking to get some insight to install it on my SimLab P1 rig, and how to attach the shoulder belts through the G Belt system. Thanks!

Apologies if this was answered somewhere else. I’m not good at searching for info. :)

Congratulations on your purchase of the e G Belt! It's a great addition to your SimLab P1 rig. Don't worry about searching for info; that's what community support is for! 😊

To install the e G Belt on your SimLab P1 rig and attach the shoulder belts through the G Belt system, follow these steps:

Begin by placing the e G Belt on your SimLab P1 rig's seat, ensuring it's securely fastened and centered.

Next, locate the attachment points for the shoulder belts on your SimLab P1 rig. These attachment points may vary depending on the specific rig model, so consult your rig's manual for guidance.

Thread the shoulder belts through the G Belt system. There should be designated slots or openings for the shoulder belts to pass through on the e G Belt.

Adjust the length of the shoulder belts as needed to ensure a snug and comfortable fit. Make sure they are securely fastened.

Double-check that all belts are properly attached and tightened, providing you with the necessary support and safety harness while racing.

If you encounter any difficulties or have further questions, feel free to ask for assistance from the SimLab community or contact their customer support.

I just bought a g-belt system. Do you have to thread the belt through the clip as in the diagram or can you attach the remainder of the belt to something like in some videos I have seen? Which option is better?

The documentation is the best way. If you want, you can cut off any excess belt once you are sure it fits you.
