I have an early batch v1 base and button box and for the entire life of the wheel, I have had an issue that the right side buttons and paddle shifter will randomly all fire once, and then completely stop working. The only fix, curiously, is to turn the wheel 90 degrees in either direction (any less rotation and it will not reset). So, I’m stuck in whatever gear I may be in until I reach a corner requiring enough rotation of the wheel. On some tracks this could be a very long time. Sometimes I will have the issue once per stint, other times it’s constantly happening. It also sucks that I have 6 buttons that I can’t map to anything because they may randomly fire (like my pit limiter for example).

I dealt with this for years as a solo racer, but now as a team endurance racer, it’s become unacceptable. My teammates are over it and want me to get a replacement. I’m over it. It’s maddening to battle with a car for laps only to lose the ability to shift and it all goes down the drain. We’ve lost minutes in endurance races, killing our chances

Does anyone else have the same problem? The 90 degree rotation fix is so odd.
