Hi,

Do you offer other shipping option like ocean freight instead of using Air shipment like Fedex?

I just received the quotation (#398) for the Stage III kit. I was surprise by the total weigh of the that kit.

I have bought a car engine short block from the U.S, and it weigh less than half of your stage III kit.

Eventhough the weigh usually mean that you are giving us a high quality products, the cost to sent that heavy crate by air is not feasible.

I estimate the total cost (shipping+ duties, etc) to get that crate to my front door is the same price as a buying a stage 2 kit.

So I was thinking if simxperience can help me get a quote from an ocean freight forwarders, cargo shipment using LCL (Less than Container Load), port to port ocean shipment.

Or if simxperience can recommend the basic necessary equipment (motion starter kit, etc) to fabricate my own stage III kit. (weighing not more than 110 lbs).

Would also be nice if simxperience has the option for us to buy blueprints of your stage kits. I really do not that much spare time for trial and error in fabricating my own kit.

Thank you.

Based on your IP address, you are in Indonesia.

Unfortunately FedEx rates, (which are usually quite good between Europe and North America), are not so good for some parts of Asia.

We've tried ocean freight in the past, but with little in the way of tracking information and extremely variable shipping times, most customers were dissatisfied with the option and it reflected poorly on us even though we were not at fault.

For the unusual areas where the FedEx shipping rates are not cost effective, you may be able to find your own freight forwarded (where SimXperience ships to a U.S. address and the forwarding company that you hire provides the remainder of the transportation).

Thank you for the suggestion.

One more thing, is it possible to get the measurement / dimension of the 'Stage III kit' shipping crate?

The unassembled kits ship in normal boxes, not crates. If you email customer support, they can provide box dimesions and weights.
