SimXperience Stage I Racing Simulator Kit Overview

The Stage I Motion simulator is heavily focused on race driver training and realistic simulation. It has been designed from the ground up to ensure a no compromise simulation without requiring a second mortgage to obtain it. The Stage I is the foundation of all our simulators and can easily be added to as your budget and time allow. You can start with a Stage I and build your way toward the Stage V!

The Stage Series of simulators is completely modular and available in five different packages to best suit your budget. Additionally, nearly 20 bolt on options are planned for the Stage Series which helps to ensure that your investment is a wise one. The SimXperience Stage I Racing Simulator is comprised of the following modules:

  • SX-3000 Motion Control Adapter
  • Two SCN5 150mm Actuators capable of 15.74 inches per second!

Included Software

SimXperience Motion Simulation products ship with the Sim Commander Motion Simulation software. The Sim Commander features Install-N-Drive technology to making setting up the software portion of your simulator a simple 3 minute task. The motion software is the engine of a motion simulator. SimXperiences' advanced parallel processing motion engine outperforms all competing products. PERIOD.

Whats's Not Included

Unlike turnkey systems, our modular systems do not limit your choices, however, you will need to provide some basic components in order to complete the Stage I simulator.

  • PC (Dual or Quad Core with a good graphics card)
  • Steering Wheel, Pedal & Shifter Set (such as the Logitech G27)
  • Racing Seat with mounting brackets (no sliders)
  • Speakers
  • ButtKicker (if desired)

Long Term Investment

The SimXperience Stage Series's was designed to accept a plethora of bolt on options that are currently under development at SimXperience Labs or are ready for release. You can expect a variety of new and innovative bolt ons features such as a modular dashboard, floorboard options, G-Belt seat belt tensioning, full body kits and many more innovations that will help to ensure the longevity of your simulator investment.

Warranty & Support

The Stage Series of simulators is backed by a full 1 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship including actuators and electronics.

Support is provided via email and public forums for installation issues and SimXperience Commander software related issues.

 

 Our Motion Principles

SimXperience simulators create the ultimate immersion by employing a variety of techniques. First and foremost we manipulate your inner ear / sense of balance to create a sense of motion. We combine this with minute body pressure cues by creating just enough roll and pitch to utilize your body weight to create these pressures. Finally, we combine the the body pressure and sense of balance manipulation with kinesthesia (skeletal and muscle pressure manipulation).

Our simulators are designed to optimize the principles of kinesthesia and proprioception. This concept is often applied in advanced Olympic training programs.

The fact is that no simulator can provide the full G-Forces, torque, etc.. that an actual vehicle can, therefore a simulator must fool the brain into perceiving these effects in an immersive manner. We achieve this with the three concepts described above, emphasizing musle pressures.

The key to creating the properly scaled muscle pressures lies in the fact that we choose not to move the wheel and pedals, and only the occupant. You can easily see how under braking, for example, that we can apply the same pressure to the muscles in your wrist and forearms as would be applied in an actual vehicle. Simulators that attempt to move the entire cockpit (wheel included) could only create these pressures if they were able to create the exact same G-Forces as the real vehicle AND sustain them. Simple vibrating seat paddle simulators can create neither the muslce pressures or manipulate your sense of balance.

Our unique combination of these techniques results in one of the most advanced and immersive simulations available anywhere at any price.

However, it's not enough to simply create this immersion. The human brain will continually attempt to break the immersion by attempting to identify movements that are not to scale with real world movements or that were unexpected. We go to great lengths to ensure that each motion profile created meets a strict criteria that focuses on the reduction of these "negative motion cues". However, not everyone will be immersed by the exact same criteria and some tweaks to the motion profiles may be required to achieve near perfect immersion for a particular individual. The SimXperience Stage Series of simulators is based on our industry leading, low latency, parallel tasking Sim Commander 3 motion engine software. This software offers unbeatable ease of use, performance and immersion personalization.
